This may be shocking for some but you read that correct, 
The Beer Brand That Is Currently Dominating The UNITED NATIONS Beer Market Is None Other Than,


    BIRA 91

Before going into detail let's get a  brief idea about the HISTORY of Beers In India :

Though we might be aware that Beer was introduced in India by Europeans In around 18th century 
which is true as well but Beer was well known before the arrival of Europeans.

Traditionally, In India Beer was made using Rice or Millet. SURA is the word used in  our VEDAS to signify  a Beer-like drink. 

Over the years after the introduction of European style Beers the craze of Beers started increasing Exponentially.

Nowadays, as we all know premium beer brand are still a rarity in India, Though Kingfisher, Corona, Tuborg etc are the  brand which are currently dominating the Beer Market in India,

But, Millennial Customers wanted something special and different which they found in BIRA 91


The Founder of BIRA 91 , ANKUR JAIN, returned India after running a successful Healthcare startup in New York as he started realizing that his true interest was lying in brewing Beer.

Since, Initially he had  no experience in Liquor Industry he decided to join a core startup in Reliance as an Retail Director ass he knew that getting into Reliance would help him understand the difficulties faced in Distribution and Infrastructure, and soon he started getting acquainted to the Fastest-Growing  startup ecosystem.

Then he started importing premium crafted Beers from Belgium, Germany and USA. After receiving a great success he decided to raise funds and start his own premium brand .
Hence he introduced his own premium Beer brand BIRA 91. 

After receiving a tremendous success by selling around 10,000 cases in a month in Delhi alone,  he soon expanded it to Mumbai, Bangalore(currently known as Bengaluru), Pune , Goa, Kolkata and later in New York.


Now, thing are going to get more high profile for the brand since it has been awarded as United Nation's Beer of the month.

This is a immensely proud moment for all Indians as this is the first time in the History of United Nations that an Imported Brand is been awarded as the Beer Brand of the month.

which is also appreciatively enjoyed by UNITED NATIONS OFFICIALS .

BIRA 91 recently introduced it's first line-up of  Low-Calorie BEER, 90 calories per 330ml of BEER is comparatively the lowest calorie alcoholic beverage option available in Bar, It is much lower in calories than drinks like Champagne, Breezer, Wine and even it is Lower than a Glass Of Milk.
